PRACTICE ON YOUR OWN AT HOME


  • Everyone develops welding skills at a different pace.
  • If you want additional practice between training sessions, we can help you understand what equipment you need to continue practicing on your own time.

WE CAN RECOMMEND EQUIPMENT

Practice on your own time, then return for your next session to review progress, correct problems, and continue improving.


SAFETY FIRST

  • Before beginning hands-on training, participants receive a safety orientation and are expected to follow all instructor directions and safety requirements.

BRING YOUR OWN PPE

participants  are responsible for bringing appropriate welding PPE, including:

  • Welding helmet
  • Safety glasses
  • TIG welding gloves
  • Appropriate welding clothing or jacket
  • Long pants
  • Closed-toe leather work boots or approved footwear
  • Hearing protection when required

SAFETY WAIVER REQUIRED

All participants must read and sign a Training Safety & Participation Waiver before beginning hands-on welding training.

THE FIRST HOUR COVERS SAFETY, EQUIPMENT SETUP, AND DEMONSTRATION.


THE SECOND HOUR MOVES INTO SUPERVISED HANDS-ON TIG WELDING, 

ADJUSTED TO YOUR EXPERIENCE LEVEL.

PRIVATE TIG WELDING instruction RATES

2-Hour Training Session — $150

$75/hour • 2-hour minimum

  • Welding machine, welding station, argon gas, filler rods, normal consumables, and standard practice material included.
